Vive la France! Now booking for 2019!

For the 2019 season, as well as our new base in the exciting and up-and-coming Montenegro [which we announced a few weeks back] we’ve got two brand new bases in the France – in the French Riviera at Saint Tropez, and in Corsica, the home of Napoleon, and a hidden gem of a place to sail.

Saint Tropez, France

You probably know all about Saint Tropez. Our recommended itinerary from Saint Tropez (famous for it’s amazing beaches and glitzy nightlife and celebrity clientele) heads up the coast to take in the superb (and equally glitzy) Cannes (famous for the annual film festival), the splendid Monte Carlo (famous for it’s casino) in Monaco, the delightful Antibes, and Saint Raphael (the oldest port in the Mediterranean) – but the whole coastline is full of stunning beaches and fine old town.

You can be one of the rare boats that actually leaves the marina and makes way up and down the coast – the rest are super-yachts, which are more normally used for hosting parties or celebrities, or parties for celebrities!

Corsica

If cruising around places full of beautiful people isn’t your thing, then cruising around beautiful places will be more your bag: Corsica has one of the most captivating coastlines in the world, with clifftop towns, secluded bays, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue seas, as well as mountainous terrain, plenty of unspoilt vegetation, and Roman ruins galore. There’s so many beaches and quiet places to sit, relax, and enjoy life, and if you throw in some sailing and some swimming, then it really is a perfect holiday destination.

From our base in Propriano, you can sail to Bonifacio – a place that is even better in real life than it is in the photo’s – and the ancient of Porto Vecchio. You can also visit Cavallo island – an island so remote and secluded that it was used for hedonistic Playboy parties by the super-rich and super-famous up until a few decades ago.
