This 2012 Special Edition Oceanis 37 is available for bareboat charter. She has been Maritime Coastguard Agency/Department of Transport coded for commercial use. This involves approximately 80 safety modifications being installed, many of which will not be included on a standard yacht.
She is the three cabin version (twin double stern berths) and is available for bareboat or skippered charter. The Department of Transport certification is for 10 people at Category 2 level. A D.O.T. Cat 2 certificate allows for a passage up to 60 nautical miles from the nearest coast by day or night. This is a Limited Edition of this widely acclaimed yacht. The saloon contains a folding table which converts to a double berth to port plus a small single berth to starboard. The yacht also includes a full 12 volt fridge rather than the usual coolbox. In the cockpit, a large colour chart plotter is positioned in front of the helm and the teak cockpit table includes a coolbox for drinks.
This is a lovely yacht to sail with its high aspect rig giving good pointing performance to windward. The yacht has contemporary lines with a wide stern. There is shaft rather than saildrive.
