When PlainSailing.com was launched in 2013 (with Scotland as our first cruising ground), it was because there wasn’t an easy way of booking a yacht or catamaran online. We only work with companies that we know and trust, and who have a track-record of well-maintained boats. Because we only work with the best charter companies, we offer sailing from a smaller number of bases, but know them inside and out – read our comprehensive destination guides about the sailing area and weather conditions, follow our suggested itineraries (or use them as a starting point to highlight where is best to go), and check out our map of your home-marina. We offer so much information that you’ll already know the area reasonably well before you even arrive.
