Sailing Holiday Photo Competition 2024

Another Mediterranean season comes to a close, and all that pre-trip excitement and planning has been replaced by some exhilarting experiences, amazing tales to be told with a beer at the marina side and the fondest of memories.  And your photos!  We've had 100s of boats on the water this year, thousands of happy sailors, and more entries than ever into our ‘Sailing Holiday Photo of the Year’ competition, and our shortlisted top 8 were all incredible!

And the winner is... 07 - Bahamas Sunset (A Ranger)

Our judges loved the picture that this photo captures - the calm after a brilliant day's sailing.  Our judges 'loved the colour and serenity that this picture gives'.  This was reflected in the public vote, where it took just over 40% of the votes!

 

Runner up... 03 - Out on our Own (G Sherwood)

With over 25% of the vote, lots of you loved this drone-captured photo of the Ionian, with our judges saying that it was "incredibly evocative, and very much captures the dream sailing trip, out in the sun on a secluded beach, away from it all."  They also take home a €500 off a 2025 charter!
