Excess 11
Beneteau launched their new range of racy catamarans under the ‘Excess’ brand to much acclaim with the sporty Excess 12 last year. It’s a range which trims out some of the luxury (and therefore cost and weight) of a modern catamaran, which means they’re a bit sharper over the water. They’ve proven so popular with sailors that there have been precious few sent out to charter, but this year, the Excess 11, the younger sister of the Excess 12, finally hits the charter market.

Elba 45
The Elba 45 is the latest offering from the wonderful Fountaine Pajot – it replaces the Helia 44, and is the most popular catamaran that Fountaine Pajot have ever built, with pre-orders smashing through the roof. It’s a big boat by length and width, but MASSIVE in height, (the flybridge takes you some distance above the water) and there’s so much space!

Bali 4.8
This year also sees the release on the charter market of the fantastic and whopping Bali 4.8 - a monster of a catamaran, with a sweet mix of the manoeuvrability of a Bali 4.0 and the luxury as standard of the Bali 5.4. She looks impressive from all angles, is fit out like your dream holiday home, but is built with sailing in mind and handles excellently when you’re out cruising.

Dufour Catamaran 48
Last year we saw a few tantalising glimpses of the new Dufour 48 Catamaran (the Dufour boatyard’s first major stab at making a cat) and we loved what we saw. After winning awards at boat-show after boat-show, the standout boat of 2020 is available for charter in 2021, and we’re excited to see who will be lucky enough to get on-board.

Sunreef 60
Sunreef made headlines recently after Rafa Nadal (who hails from the Balearic islands and loves sailing almost as much as he loves tennis) let slip to the media that he’d just bought himself a brand new Sunreef!
