Kicking off in Scotland!
Thursday, 15th January 2015Plainsailing.com is commencing with the Western Scotland cruising area - we know it, we love it, and we think you will love it too!
At Plainsailing.com, we had a chance to launch our chartering site covering anywhere in the world - but in reality, there was only one place we wanted to start: Western Scotland!
An area so stunningly beautiful, with great sailing conditions, some of the cutest destinations to visit (all within a good days' sail), and some fantastic yachts - not to mention some of the biggest and best marina's in the world. Scotland is also home to some of the worlds' friendliest people :)
Our initial cruising area covers the whole of the firth of Clyde, and up the West Scottish coast to Skye. It's an area that includes historic monuments, old fishing villages, brand new marina's and rugged landscape - and of course, a fair number of outstanding distilleries!
We've been sailing around the area for a number of years, and love it, and we're certain that you will love it to!
