Best new charter boats in 2024!
A review of the hottest new boats, which we're excited to welcome on to the water in the charter world!
The hand-picked charter fleets that we work with have all been busy spending their off-season preparing their boats so that everything will be ready to go when the season starts in a few short weeks time.
They’ve also been welcoming some exciting new boats to their fleets – and some of them will have had to have been ordered in 2022 (or earlier). We take a look at some of the best new boats on the water this season:
Lagoon 55
The Lagoon 55 was actually launched in 2021, but, in the midst of Covid, sales (to private and walthy individuals) were through the roof, so it’s taken three years for the boats ordered by the charter companies to finally hit the water! And it’s no wonder, because it is a beautiful boat, oozing with comfort and mod-cons, but also so much space. The best feature is the flybridge, which has been extended to a huge second-floor terrace offering a sublime place to sit, and incredible views.

Bali Catsmart
Bali are famed for their luxurious and stylish catamarans – and with the Bali Catsmart, they have made another absolute gem. Despite being just 38 feet - the smallest in the Bali range – their design team have managed to stack so many features, and so much living space, that it genuinely feels like you’re on a much bigger catamaran. Some people might balk at sharing a heads with another cabin, but what you lose in over-the-top comfort, you gain in economy.

Dufour 44
It’s been a few years since Dufour launched an exciting monohull – but, together with the irrepressible Felci boat design team, they have completely reinvented and relaunched their monohull range for 2024. Their Dufour 44 stands out as being one of the boats which will impress this summer – modern, sleek, wide, and their hexagonal saloon table could soon become industry standard. Oh, and fantastic to sail!

Hanse 510
The 510 is Hanse’s latest update to their flagship 50 foot monohull – the Hanse 510 replaces the Hanse 508, and brings with it a little added refinement to an already high-performance yacht. As well as flooding the saloon with even more natural light, one of the new features is a ‘tender garage’ at the stern for your dinghy to be hidden away in - which actually does make a real difference in decluttering the deck, and making the space above deck an exceptional place to relax.
